Leadership Philosophy
As an educator, my goal is to be a solution-oriented leader that encourages, respects, and inspires my colleagues, peers, and students to strive to be the best version of themself. I am open-minded when working with others and understand that each individual brings a unique skill set to the table. My goal is to empower people to utilize their gifts to streamline the process of resolving conflicts or challenges. There is power in collaboration, and I recognize the benefit of building a strong team that works toward a common goal. My focus and drive equip me to stay on top of the task at hand, and my patience empowers me to remain calm when issues arise. My preferred method of showing gratitude is words of affirmation. I want to be a team player. Therefore, I do my utmost to show others that I am appreciative of their time, passion, and willingness. Lastly, I take ownership of my mistakes and shortcomings. I believe there is no better way to be a leader than showing that you are willing to humble yourself when failures occur. After all, we are all human, and the greatest lessons in life emerge from our failures. I want to cultivate relationships that reflect my faith, love for people, and eagerness to lead a positive impactful life.
Thank you for taking the time to read my philosophy of leadership.
